CHARLESTOWN REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
Charlestown Netball Association has a long and proud Representative Program history. Over the years we have had many teams compete in NNSW competitions such as Regional League, Junior State Titles (previously State Age Championships) and Senior State Titles (previously State Championships).
We aim to
- Support and nurture Charlestown Netball Association representative players within a positive and rewarding environment, allowing them to play their best and to represent Charlestown Netball Association with pride, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- Provide a professional and organised framework of management and support for both representative players and representative personnel.
- Encourage and support the continued development of skills and experience of Charlestown representative coaches, umpires, and managers.
- Support our representative teams to perform at their best when competing at Junior State Titles (JST), Senior State Titles (SST), and other representative competitions.
- Nurture confidence, integrity, pride, resilience and passion in our players, coaches and managers, to allow them to excel and flourish both on and off the court.
2026 REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM - SELECTIONS
Selections will take place on Saturday 7th February and Sunday 8th February 2026.
WHERE: Hunter Sports High School, Pacific Highway, Gateshead.
- Players and parents are required to park outside the school grounds.
- To drop players off : Walk through Gate 2 at southern end of school to the COLA/undercover area near the main sports hall (Q building). Note that spectators are not permitted in the sports hall.
- To pick players up : Please keep an eye on our social media (Facebook and Instagram). An announcement will be posted when selections for an age group are nearly finished. Parents/carers can collect their child from the COLA/undercover are near the main sports hall.
- Reminder that no spectators are permitted inside the sports hall while selections are taking place.

If a player is unable to attend but would still like to be considered for selection, please complete the nomination form and send a short email with explanation to cna.secretary1@gmail.com.
General instructions for players attending selections:
- Players are requested to wear white/light coloured top with black/dark pants. No logos, no club/rep clothing.
- Please keep in mind that player numbers will be written on upper arms and lower legs. If possible, it is preferred that players do not wear sleeves past the upper biceps and no long pants below the knee.
- Players are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a small towel.
- Players (and parents/carers) are encouraged to be familiar with the selections policy and representative policy for Charlestown Netball Association.
