There are no wet weather days. If there is a washout, then two half games will be played the following week
and both clubs rostered on will assist in the canteen.
That is the club from the washout day and the club due to help.

to be held on Sunday 28th July 2019 at the Essie Toneguzzi Courts, Riawena Park, Bula Street, Charlestown

9th July.
And just like that Hart Junior State Titles are all done and dusted for 2019!!
Massive congratulations to all those that were involved with this event on behalf of Charlestown Netball Association.

Day three recap:
☆ Under 12s are proud as punch to have brought home the goods!
Second place on a count back, not bad!
Last day of play saw 4 wins, a bye and 1 close loss. Their last game secured the second place position.

   

Under 13s finished middle of the pack. 5 wins and 1 loss was a strong way to finish off the competition.
Under 14s just missed out on the top 4, proving just how close the competition has been.
Last day of play saw them win 3 and narrowly lose 3.
A great effort by all. We could not be prouder of you!♡♡♡

   

   
Day two recap:
Under 12s won 6 games and lost 1 game today, putting them in strong contention as they face the last day.
Under 13s had 1 win, 1 draw and 5 losses. They will regroup and come back stronger than ever tomorrow.

Under 14s won 4, lost 2 and drew 1 game.
They have the top four in their sights and will need to bring all they've got for the final day of competition.
Keep up the great work and fingers crossed we bring some of those blue patches home to Charlie!

Day One recap:
   
Under 14s finished the day in the top four, having lost only one game to the top team.
They'll hope to bring that energy into the following days.

Under 13s won three games lost one close game and had a bye and a draw.
There isn't much separating the top of the pack and it is anyone's game at the end of day one.

Under 12s won three games, one close loss and had two draws.
They definitely have the top four in their sights for day two.

2019 Hart Senior State Titles.
11th June.
Day three recap:
Opens finished off the competition by playing a couple of teams in the top four.
After a few tough matches, they came away with three wins and three losses, leaving them in 7th position.

The Under 17s also experienced three wins and three losses on their last day of competition.
They kept their heads up high and should be proud of their effort.

The Under 15s had a couple of nail biting finishes in their games, coming away with one loss, three wins and two draws.
There was not much between the top of the leader board with the Under 15s ending up in a well deserved fourth place.

Well done to everyone for the effort put in over the whole weekend.
You gave it your all and left everything you had on the court. We could not be prouder.♡♡

Hart Senior State Titles.
9th June.
Day two recap:
The Opens team has continued their run with four wins, two losses and a bye today.
Manly Warringah, currently placed second on the ladder, proved too strong in the fifth game (again).
At the end of day two the Opens team is sitting in sixth position, with a spot in the top four still within reach.

The Under 17s came out with a point to prove today.
They came away with four wins, two losses and a draw.
At the end of day two the Under 17s team is sitting in the middle of the pack.
We will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

The Under 15s continued their winning streak today pulling five convincing wins, one draw and a bye.
They are currently sitting in fourth position on the ladder, due to play the teams ahead of them tomorrow.
They will no doubt have their sights set on finals.
We wish everyone the best of luck as they move into the final day!

Day one recap:
The Open's team is off to a good start with five wins and one loss.
Randwick proved too strong in their fifth game, marking the only loss for the day.
A mixture of tight and comfortable margins does not necessarily reflect the calibre of the games being played.

The Under 17s had a rough start to the competition, playing a number of difficult games.
They experienced two wins and four losses, with some tight games that could've gone either way.

The Under 15s came out all guns blazing on day one, with four wins in a row.
Unfortunately Temora and Lakeside proved too strong in the last games of the day.

11 years Development Squad:
6 April 2016.
Selections for the 11 years development squad were held on Wednesday at the Charlestown Netball Courts.
The Association selects approximately 20 players to give them the opportunity to be coached at a higher level.
The two teams attend a training session once a week for 10 weeks, and go to four local carnivals -
Newcastle 15 May 2016, Invitational Carnival at Charlestown 29 May, 2016, Lakeside Carnival 19 June 2016,
and the final one at the Charlestown Carnival on 24 July 2016.

What a fantastic weekend for all of our Charlestown Netball representative players.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this weekend happen for our girls.
To the parents, thank you, the support you give your daughters is amazing, the coaches and managers thank you for giving up your time
to allow the players have this wonderful experience.
Our umpires, who not only umpired but supported from every sideline as they were passing.
The sports therapists who kept every player on the court and massaged at the end of the day after those wonderful(!) ice baths.

Charlestown Netball Association would like to pass on their congratulations to all our personnel who are currently at the State Age Championships in Illawarra.
With a horrendous night of wind, the tent city was closed down and we spent the day in the car park!
The players, coaches, managers, umpires and sports trainers took it all in their stride and never once complained - thank you all, it shows the true grit of the Charlie teams - well done.
Special thanks to the parents who yesterday packed the tents, today unpacked the tents for us, carted the gear back to their motels only to bring it all back tomorrow.
